RYA Training Centre accrediation
Following the ‘Powerboat Instructor’ training sessions run by the RYA in conjunction with PoFSA early in 2022, we are pleased to report that the RCYC has met all the RYA requirements to gain full accreditation as an RYA Training Centre licensed to deliver RYA Powerboat Level 2 (PB2) training to our members. This has involved a significant amount of work to prepare our RIBS and to set up the systems and documentation required by the RYA. Kevin Maclean, Training Manager, Chris Davis our Chief Instructor, Bob Godzicz, Malcolm Forrest, Jan Allen have been instrumental in making this happen, assisted by a number of others.

Kevin will shortly be setting up training courses so please look out for these if you are interested.
The range of courses offered is expected to grow, and has already included VHF training.
