The regatta due to take place on 27th & 28th September 2025 has been cancelled due to low entry numbers.
In spring 2025, Adam Davis of River Boatyard Ltd (Gweek) met with RCYC Sailing to propose a new regatta for multihull cruising and racing yachts in Falmouth Bay, Cornwall. Adam, experienced in the region’s growing catamaran and trimaran scene, noted renewed interest in Firebird catamarans.
The inaugural event originally attracted interest from 15 boats, including Dart 18s, Firebirds, Farrier Trimarans, a Nigel Irens’ 63′ trimaran, and several Dazcats prominent in MOCRA racing.
